Portrait The Regional Intensive Course Plus (RIK+) is a regionally organized educational offer of the elementary school for newly arrived young people aged 13 to 17 years without or with only rudimentary knowledge of the German language, partly without literacy and without school education, which is comparable to ours. The visit to the RIK+ is intended to facilitate the transition for foreign-speaking young people to the bridge offers of the secondary level II (e.g. BPI) or to the upper classes of the secondary level I of the elementary school. Tasks

As a French teacher, you teach catch-up lessons for a small group of three students during two lessons per week (afternoons, outside the regular timetable). The students have little to no previous knowledge of French. When designing the lessons, you take into account the learning requirements and needs of the students. They prepare the lessons individually and action-oriented and accompany the students on their learning path, so that they are prepared for the French lessons in the planned follow-up solution (presumably high school level).

Requirements

A trained French teacher is suitable for this position, preferably with experience in teaching catch-up lessons. Working with young people from different backgrounds brings you joy. They can engage with young people and contribute to their well-being and holistic promotion by actively shaping the relationship and teaching. They have their own initiative and independence, are flexible and resilient.
