Task area

As a Fleet Management Specialist, you are the central contact person for all topics relating to our trucks, vehicle and truck fleet:

• Independently ensuring day-to-day operations for the Swiss fleet of around 950 units (trucks, trailers, cars, LNFZ, forklifts, etc.) as well as coordinating and prioritizing all ongoing tasks in compliance with legal requirements and internal guidelines.

• Completion of the entire vehicle life cycle from ordering to registration, takeover, transfer and user change to return in cooperation with importers, leasing companies and internal bodies.

• Monitoring lease contracts, terms, mileages, budgets and ongoing costs, as well as processing of contract adjustments, multi- and shorter kilometres and early returns.

• audit, control and processing of fleet-related invoices.

• Coordination of maintenance, repairs, tyre changes, breakdowns and vehicle damage as well as handling and tracking of claims and insurance cases in cooperation with internal and external stakeholders.

• Central contact for vehicle users, as well as internal specialist offices such as Finance, Controlling, HR and Payroll and operational interface to leasing companies, garages, insurance companies, tire partners, fuel card providers and other service providers.

• Analysis, standardization and digitalization of fleet processes, as well as ensuring a current and reliable database. Development of automated workflows, key figures and reports to reduce costs, error rates, lead times and administrative effort.

• Implementation of the step-by-step electrification of the vehicle fleet as well as coordination and tracking of vehicle conversions, charging infrastructure, location requirements, service providers, internal specialist departments, deadlines, costs and project progress.

• Support in collective bargaining with service partners, independent implementation of smaller contract negotiations.

• Close cooperation with the Fleet Manager on optimization measures and projects, as well as cross-divisional topics.

Profile

In order to successfully master these versatile challenges, you bring the following competencies:

• In-depth experience in fleet management, in the automotive sector or in administrative functions with a high degree of coordination.

• In-depth knowledge in the automotive industry.

• Good to very good knowledge of German, French and English in word and writing.

• Experience in leasing and claims management is an advantage.

• Technical affinity and analytical skills.

• Digital affinity and secure handling of MS Office and IT/ERP tools.

• Strong organizational skills as well as pleasure in dealing with people.

• Communication strength, service orientation, project management experience and negotiation skills.

• Precise, conscientious, independent, structured and responsible working methods.

• Flexibility, resilience and teamwork.
