What we offer.

The fleet of FFS Infrastructure is one of the three fleets of railway vehicles of the SBB, along with those of the traffic travelers and Cargo. The approximately 2500 vehicles are used for shipyards (e.g. locomotives, gravel wagons, railway cranes), for interventions (e.g. shut-off and rescue trains) and for special applications (e.g. displacement, basic tunnel maintenance of San Gottardo). As a member of the executive team of the business unit Purchase of vehicles and Fleet Management contribute to the evolution of the FFS Infrastructure fleet and organizational unit, thus contributing to secure, reliable and sustainable mobility in Switzerland. What you can move.

• As the Fleet Provision Manager, along with your team of 12 colleagues, you play a key role in ensuring the safety and efficient use of the FFS Infrastructure fleet.
• Ensure that the right vehicles are available and ready for use at the right time for yards, interventions and special applications.
• Plan and coordinate the fleet with the aim of achieving the best possible profitability, from long-term sizing to short-term optimization of use and availability, in compliance with safety requirements.
• In your role as ECM 3 you ensure maintenance within the terms and documentation.
• Promote an atmosphere within the motivating and trusted team and put into practice the FFS values and the principles of management of the Infrastructure division.
• Continuously develop processes in your team, especially in the role of Business Owner in IT projects.

The one you bring with you.

• You can think analytically and make data-based decisions.
• Bring with you a multiannual management experience with line responsibilities and demonstrate mastery in the management of stakeholders.
• Experience and skills in physical asset management characterize your profile.
• You have affinities with railway vehicles and work regularly on Gemba.
• You have a tertiary level study title in technical or economic- Business.
• You have an excellent command of German at level C1 and another national language, French or Italian at level B1.
