Portrait We are a dedicated elementary school consisting of the three municipalities of Lotzwil, Bleienbach and Rütschelen. With around 500 students, we offer the entire educational path from kindergarten to 9th grade. At our four locations and in 25 classes, we attach particular importance to individual and holistic support that prepares our students for their future in the best possible way. Our former co-principal will be looking for a new challenge in January 2027. Therefore, from 1 February 2027 or by agreement, we are looking for experienced leaders for the position of school management!

Tasks

Together with the other school leaders, you take over the staff, pedagogical and operational management of the school. As a team, you develop school concepts and implement them together. One of your main tasks is to promote a positive and inclusive school atmosphere. They support and develop the teacher college further. You also maintain communication and cooperation with parents, students and external partners. You will ensure smooth school operations and compliance with educational standards. After the selection of the school management team, the general areas of responsibility, the cycle responsibility and the responsibility for special teaching are jointly defined. We focus on the available resources and strengths.

Requirements

They are an experienced leader – ideally with a background in pedagogy or a related field – with the openness to engage with the people at school and shape the future together with them. They bring the skills to lead, motivate and build a strong team. Strong social and communication skills distinguish you as well as the willingness to cooperate and reflect. They are willing to work closely with the equal co-school management. Challenges are identified at an early stage and you can solve them constructively in order to promote an optimal school climate. Efficient planning and structured work are among your strengths.
