Tasks

• Preparation of a research application with the Swiss National Science Foundation or another research institution
• Conducting a course for bachelor students usually in German in the spring or autumn semester 2027

Requirements

• Doctorate in Historical Sciences, which was completed no more than three years ago at the time of employment. The doctoral procedure must be completed by 20 October 2026
• Self-employed and structured working methods
• Own initiative in research and teaching
• Regular presence in Bern and participation in the life of the institute
• German language skills level B1
