Tasks: • Writing a dissertation • Participation in university self-management and participation in the activities of the Department of Modern History and the Institute • Occasional participation in research and in teaching (max. 10%) Requirements • Master's degree in history or an interdisciplinary degree programme with a focus on history completed at the latest on taking up the job • own dissertation project with focus in the early modern period • Interest in the research focus of the department • Teamwork, pleasure in research and ability to self-organize • Readiness for regular presence on site We offer: Flexible working hours and a centrally located workplace in Bern
