Full description
Portrait Due to maternity leave, we are looking for a deputy from the beginning of January 2027 until the summer holidays 2027. Our school is centrally located in the lively and idyllic Länggasse quarter in the city of Bern. In the Großer Länggassschulhaus we maintain a good cooperation among the teachers and regard our school as a living space in which we learn, live and move forward together. The well-being and health of all parties involved are important to us. In addition to the obligatory lessons, we attach great importance to a broad additional offer of the school and various school sports. Our staff is creative, flexible and pragmatic: cultural and sporting events accompany us through our school day.
Tasks
They teach in a 6th grade: 6 L German (of which 2 half-class lessons), 3 L French (of which 2 half-class lessons) plus 3 L French (of which 2 half-class lessons) in a parallel class, 2 L English, 3 L NMG, 3 L technical design, 3 L Sport, 2 L BG. Lesson days: Monday morning, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday morning. They value a close cooperation with the specialist teachers and the school management. They participate in school and extracurricular events.
Requirements
- They are preferably trained teachers and have the necessary prerequisites for teaching in Cycle 2.
- Knowledge of 6th grade subject areas is an advantage. Individuals with advanced PH studies can also be considered depending on the application.
We offer
No transfer decisions need be made; the transfer procedure will be completed before the Christmas holidays. A professional handover with the current class teacher is guaranteed and takes place in December after consultation. We are an established team in a centrally located quarter in the city of Bern. Support is provided by curative education and school social work, specialist bodies, school secretariat and school management.
