- You will lead the development department with around 22 employees in the four specialist groups Climate Adaptation, Strategic Planning, Urban Trees and Nature and Ecology and develop their specialist strategies.
- You lead overarching projects and plans of strategic and political scope and shape green spaces, parks, squares and quarters that determine the face of the city over generations.
Main responsibilities
- You will lead the development department with around 22 employees in the four specialist groups Climate Adaptation, Strategic Planning, Urban Trees and Nature and Ecology and develop their specialist strategies.
- You lead overarching projects and plans of strategic and political scope and shape green spaces, parks, squares and quarters that determine the face of the city over generations.
- You develop and negotiate viable solutions for urban green with the necessary political sense.
- You secure the green its place in a growing city and negotiate with the planning and infrastructure offices at eye level.
- You develop instruments and concepts based on the urban green strategy and transfer them to realization on a solid foundation. Requirements
- You have a university degree in landscape architecture, spatial planning or urban planning, civil engineering or a related direction, ideally supplemented by business knowledge.
- You have been leading at the appropriate level for several years, know your subject in depth and share the enthusiasm for green topics.
- You think strategically and forward-looking, have a keen sense of politics and move sovereignly between administration, committees and the public.
- You communicate clearly and convincingly to the inside as well as the outside, listen well and negotiate skillfully.
- Even in heated moments, you remain sovereign and find the common denominator.
