Tasks: Strategic control and organisational development

• Implementation of the structural and strategic development of DBMR
• Further development of governance, decision-making and organisational structures
• Advising the scientific leadership on strategic issues

Operational overall co-ordination

• Responsibility for finance, personnel, infrastructure, security and research platforms
• Control of budget planning, controlling and resource allocation
• Ensuring efficient administrative and operational processes in research operations
• Management and further development of the administrative teams

Integration and interface function

• Coordination between research programs, core facilities, faculty, university and clinical partners
• Moderation of complex decision-making processes in a matrix organisation
• Representation of the Department in universitary and external bodies
• Promoting a transparent communication and leadership culture

Your profile

• Completed doctorate (PhD), preferably in the biomedical, scientific or related fields
• Multi-annual management experience in a complex organization, ideally in the academic or research environment
• Proven experience in organizational development, change management and strategic implementation
• Well-founded competence in budget planning, financial management and personnel management
• Experience with third-party funding systems, research infrastructures or scientific platforms
• Expressed analytical and strategic skills and inclusive leadership style
• Very good German and English skills
