Around 200,000 passengers travel with BLS every day. To ensure they receive the right information at all times from departure to arrival, our trains need modern and reliable passenger information. This is what awaits you

• Further develop the software solution for passenger information on trains, implement new functions and interfaces, and ensure their reliable operation
• Maintain the CI/CD pipeline, automate build, test, deployment, and operational processes, and continuously optimize them
• Analyze and resolve incidents in 2nd- and 3rd-level support, and work with internal and external specialist teams to develop and implement sustainable improvements
• Plan, support, and coordinate releases, maintenance work, and technical changes, and maintain system and operational documentation
• Develop and implement new functional and technical requirements together with product managers, specialist departments, suppliers, and other IT teams

What you bring

• Completed education or further training in computer science, software engineering, or a comparable field
• Several years of experience in software development and operating production applications
• Good knowledge of Java and experience with CI/CD pipelines, container platforms, and modern development tools, ideally OpenShift and GitLab
• Extensive practical experience in application management and in analyzing and resolving incidents in complex system environments
• A structured and solution-oriented approach to work, strong analytical skills, and enthusiasm for interdisciplinary collaboration with various stakeholders
