  • Nutrition, Care & Environmental (NCE) supplies materials for the production of composites for the electronics, aerospace and other markets, as well as vitamins and nutritional supplements, chemicals and high-performance intermediates, and raw materials for a wide range of high-performance applications.
  • CH15 Arxada is a global specialty chemicals company with major production facilities in Visp (Valais), Switzerland.
  • The company develops innovative solutions for microbial control, nutrition, care, and environmental applications.

Company and context

  • Ensuring smooth shift operation and organization of all work orders as well as responsibility for shift handover
  • In the event of an incident, ensures contact with external departments (porter / on-call / fire brigade)
  • Leading the team with regard to orders, priorities, breaks and absences
  • Ensuring the implementation of the required work in the assigned work area in accordance with the applicable requirements (safety, environmental protection and quality)
  • Questioning the daily work in collaboration with the employees of the shift team and developing suggestions for improvement accordingly Qualifications and experience:
  • High standards to strengthen the safety culture
  • Residence in the Upper Valais to ensure readiness in the event of disruptions
  • Experience as an investment specialist in chemical production or service companies and in dealing with process control systems
  • Preferably completed CPT or CPP apprenticeship (formerly certified operator) or willingness to start it
  • You are interested and ready to learn new technologies and continually educate yourself
