You can make this contribution

• Design and control the business planning and coordination of the Army Staff in order to create the basis for a forward-looking and effective leadership

• With the rolling planning, the management calendar as well as the defined heavyweights and priorities ensure the timely implementation of orders and results

• Ensure the planning and coordination of the reports or management committees and their professional preparation and follow-up, as well as transfer decisions into concrete measures and follow up their implementation consistently

• Addressees prepare demanding business, opinions and decision bases and advise internal partners on the content and formal design of their contributions

• Ensuring the quality of products and delivery results to the Army Staff and Defence Group executive bodies, as well as timely provision of relevant information

• Actively develop management tools and processes, contribute your own ideas, lead working groups and projects and impart knowledge within the framework of training

• Higher vocational training with 2 to 3 years of functionally relevant experience or vocational qualification with 4 to 7 years of functionally relevant experience

• Proven good knowledge of military processes and the organisation and processes of the Federal Administration

• Good conceptual and editorial skills as well as analytical and systematic thinking skills

• Rapid capture of complex contexts, analytical thinking and the ability to understand demanding issues in writing and verbally

• Independent, structured and results-oriented working methods, a good sense of priorities and the ability to keep track of parallel transactions

• Strong communication skills with diverse stakeholders and the ability to demand products forcefully

The Army Staff (A Staff) supports the Chief of the Army in the leadership of the Departmental Department of Defence and is responsible for the overall military planning and development of the Swiss Army. Here, in accordance with the political guidelines, the strategic foundations, the armed forces development and the army and armaments planning are developed and tasks in the international security context are performed. The command, control and coordination of all cross-cutting areas (personnel, finance, real estate) also fall under the responsibility of the Army Staff.
