Tasks
With your commitment, you ensure that our residents and guests feel comfortable in a clean and well-kept environment. You support our housekeeping team in the maintenance, intermediate and basic cleaning and ensure a careful and hygienic execution of the work. Another important part of your activity is the service at the meals on the residential groups. You work independently and reliably, keep an overview even in lively situations and support your teammates where your help is needed. With your friendly and attentive nature you contribute to a pleasant atmosphere and meet our residents respectfully and appreciatively. You work in early service or with room hours (up to 7.24 p.m.) and usually have two weekends a month off. Your workplace will be in Bern-Bethlehem until the end of April 2027 and from May 2027 due to new replacements at our transitional location Steingrüebli in Ostermundigen before we return to Bern-Bethlehem.
Requirements
- Experience in the hospitality industry
- Completion of professional housekeeping EFZ beneficial
- Good knowledge of German
- Efficient and careful working methods
- Flexibility and resilience
- Ability to set priorities
- Understanding and empathy for older people
