Who you are

We are looking for customer service employees who enjoy providing our customers with advice and support and offering them the best possible shopping experience. Thanks to you, our customers will not only visit IKEA with a smile, they will also leave our stores with a smile and look forward to coming back.

• You have a strong service orientation, a friendly manner and a good sense of what customers want.
• You always have an answer to inquiries and a solution to every problem - no matter how stressful the situation may be.
• You have a flair for dealing with people and enjoy providing our customers with the best possible shopping experience.
• You have very good knowledge of spoken and written German, French is a great advantage and you are confident in using a PC.
• You have an affinity for numbers, are good with money and feel comfortable at the computer.
• You have a passion for home furnishings and the IKEA brand and are excited to explore the IKEA product range and service options in detail.
• You feel confident in using the English language, so that you can always be approached by international customers.

You are responsible for

• Advise and support customers and always treat them with a friendly smile in the work areas described below:
• In the entrance area: greeting customers to ensure they feel welcome and well informed from the start, directing them to the right contact person if necessary.
• In Småland: Make sure children aged 3 to 10 are in good hands.
