Portrait As a school director, do you want to actively participate in school development projects in a dedicated district of the city of Bern? The Bethlehem School District attaches great importance to innovation, appreciation and cooperation. For the school location Tscharnergut in the school district Bethlehem we are looking for you for the responsible school commission on 1 February 2027.
From the outset, you will be supported by a well-established college, an efficient and experienced secretariat, the experienced school management of the other cycles as well as the competent and committed school district committee Bethlehem and Special Primary School Bern/BVSK. Tasks
- Together with the co-management you are responsible for the operational and pedagogical management of the school location Tscharnergut
- You take over the personnel management of some of the 90 employees with 24 classes, 3 intensive courses and around 420 students
Subdivision proposals shall consist of
- In the areas of organization, administration, information work, you jointly focus on the division of tasks and responsibility
- Active participation in pedagogical issues and the management of challenging situations
- Close cooperation in the management team of the school location, various specialists at the school, with various departments of the city administration, the school committees and cantonal offices
Requirements
- Pedagogical or educational training and further training (CAS, MAS) to run or prepare to complete schools
- Teaching experience and/or school management experience, ideally in cycle 1/Special elementary school classes Bern (BVSK) management experience in the school sector is advantageous
- Ability to think in larger contexts and used to act and decide independently
- Willingness to cooperate openly with members of the school management and the school district commission
- Willingness and openness to initiate and participate in renewal processes
