While trains roll reliably every day in the Lötschberg Base Tunnel, you push ahead with the construction of the second tube – a masterpiece under full load. In advance, the Engstlige tunnel is growing, which will make Alpine traffic even more efficient in the future. • Responsibility for the quality, time and cost-related execution of the assigned subprojects
• Leading the local construction managers: inside and maintain a partnership with the companies
• Ensuring the smooth transition from planning to execution
• Active control of project progress and transparent reporting
• Designing challenging construction work under ongoing railway operations and contributing to the safe realization of one of Switzerland’s most important infrastructure projects

This is what you bring with you

• Degree as a civil engineer: in FH or ETH
• Several years of experience in superstructure management or construction management of complex infrastructure, tunnel and railway construction projects
• Experience in the management of demanding interfaces and ideally in construction under operation
• Convincing communication and negotiation skills
• Independent, solution-oriented and entrepreneurial working methods as well as very good knowledge of German
