• Together with your/or head/or team you run a department of about 45 engineers, physicists and other specialists and you take on technical and staff responsibility.
• Together with customers, you define and are responsible for strategic initiatives for further development of railway management systems, digitalization and innovation (e.g. digital control processes, automation, data analysis).
• Ensure compliance with technical standards (e.g. CENELEC), safety requirements and quality standards and verify compliance with financial guidelines.
• As a member of the management team, Rail Traffic Management actively participates in its further development, both human and technological. Manage and develop the network with industrial partners, suppliers and national and European project partners and represent rail traffic management in relevant bodies.

What you bring with you.

• With courage and determination, you carry out great transformation projects, always keeping an eye on the human aspects of change.
• In your professional journey you have already gained a managerial experience in managing interdisciplinary teams.
• At a specialist level, you already have experience in portfolio, budget and risk management. With sensitivity and diplomacy, you are able to reconcile complex issues between customer needs, economics and safety.
• Strong knowledge of industrial development processes (model V, standards like CENELEC) and the railway environment.
