Full description

You give protection and rescue Bern a strong voice. As Head of Communication, you control our internal and external communication, advise the organization in challenging situations and position our topics effectively in public, politics and media. Together with your team, you shape the communication of an organization that is committed to the security of the population on a daily basis.

Tasks

• You will further develop the communication strategy and position protection and rescue Bern effectively towards the public, politics and stakeholders
• As a sparring partner of the management and executives, you advise on strategic communication issues and recognize opportunities and risks at an early stage.
• Media work is your responsibility. You maintain media contacts and take over the media photo service with your team
• In exceptional situations and crisis situations, you can communicate securely, quickly and appropriately to the addressee.
• You accompany change and development processes communicatively and strengthen internal communication
• You will continuously develop the digital communication channels and the positioning of Schutz undrettung Bern

Requirements

• Training in communication, journalism, public relations in a comparable field forms your basis
• You have several years of professional and managerial experience in strategic communication, ideally in a politically shaped or public environment and bring experience in media work, crisis communication and advising management bodies
• Networked thinking, understanding of political contexts and the ability to bring different interests together make you stand out
• You convince with your excellent written and oral expressive skills as well as your knowledge of the media landscape
