BKW network electricians are responsible for the construction, operation and maintenance of the power grid. Prepare to meet exciting challenges and join a team that will accompany you on your journey to become a specialist.
Your tasks
As a specialist in all electrical works, you are responsible for the construction, operation and maintenance of cables and overhead lines, switching and processing stations, and public lighting. Whether it's in town or in the country, you're almost every day in the field and you work outdoors, summer or winter. You thus discover the whole universe of electrical energy and you can dare explore new ways. Despite the technical tools at your disposal, you often put your hands on the dough and find autonomous solutions to problems. To minimize the risks associated with your demanding activity, you learn how to handle tools and machines safely. Whether in a trench or on a tower: as a network electrician, you usually work as a team. Good cooperation and mutual trust are therefore essential.
