Portrait The gibb vocational school Bern is a cantonal vocational school in the canton of Bern. We teach around 7,000 young people in more than 60 professions, of which around 1,000 are at the vocational school and around 1,000 are working part-time in higher vocational training.

Tasks

• Supports the department management in carrying out their management tasks.
• Acts as deputy or Deputy ensures the school operations of the department in the absence of the department head.

Requirements

• Eligibility to teach at secondary level II: Matura teacher with additional BM qualification.
• Willingness to complete specific further training tailored to the areas of responsibility.
• Teaching experience in vocational training.
• Organizational and administrative skills.
• Communication skills, assertiveness, initiative, holistic thinking, resilience and flexibility.
• Openness to collaboration within the school management team and the teaching team.
• Willingness to start teaching at the gibb BMS in the foreseeable future and if the workload is available.
