Portrait We have been the center for people, work and business since 1890.

• We offer the Bernese Oberland more than education, for a lifetime. Our vocational school covers 23 professions from the areas of construction, wood, technology, gastronomy and hotels, health, social affairs and business. Around 2,000 learners are currently being taught by over 120 teachers at our four locations. Employees in administration, technical support of the IT infrastructure and housekeeping work to ensure that the school runs smoothly.

The Health and Social Affairs department includes the training courses AGS, FaBe-Kin, FaGe and FaGe-E and is looking for a motivated individual to replace “maternity leave” from October 12, 2026 or by arrangement

Tasks

– Vocational studies lessons (4 lessons on Tuesday afternoon) – Preparation/post-processing and further development of the lessons – Active collaboration within the class team – School-related

• Tasks as per job assignment

– Support and exemplify values and attitudes

Requirements

– Qualification as a childhood educator HF, social pedagogue HF or comparable training – Sound practical experience in the professional support and care of children and/or young people – Enjoy teaching young adults – Teaching experience at secondary level II is an advantage – Ideally teaching qualifications as a vocational school teacher (BKU) (or willingness to acquire this qualification) – Willingness to work together in a team
