Clinic for Aging and Neuropsychiatry
Your tasks
- You support patients in finding a way out of the disease to a better quality of life and self-determination
- You take on responsibility in day, night and emergency services
- You make an important contribution to basic mental health care in the Canton of Bern
- You work in the clinic for age and neuropsychiatry and support people 65 years and older and cognitively impaired with psychological challenges
- Under medical guidance, you take on diagnostic tasks and therapeutic case management
- You work closely with your interprofessional team and are in exchange with relatives and other practitioners
- You get to know the treatment and the entire spectrum of mental illnesses in depth
Your profile
- You have a medical degree recognized in Switzerland
- You are an open, motivated and willing personality with social skills, empathy and observation
- You appreciate interprofessional cooperation and are happy to take on responsibility
- You have good oral and written knowledge of German (minor level C1)
- Ideally, you have previous experience in the somatic field
- You will actively contribute yourself and your knowledge to the interprofessional team consisting of medical service, psychology, social service and care and expand your own horizons
