Role overview
Your main objective is to ensure the proper functioning of the mental health service at several sites in the region, providing various outpatient mandates such as the main one of the general child psychiatry, the development of an intervention project within a day hospital and coordination within the Perinatal Network.
You conduct in-depth clinical assessments in our young patients and include interviews with their parents or guardians and care network.
Accurate and detailed clinical investigations will refine diagnostic questions and provide an accurate and evaluable indication and management plan in terms of quality and sustainability.

Application process
- You will develop and ensure that personalized treatment plans are put in place for your own patients and will also oversee their proper application in the event of therapies provided by front-line colleagues (physician and psychologist in training) whose responsibility you will have to assume.
- You are responsible for providing individual, family or co-parental therapy and possibly group therapy to children and adolescents, depending on the projects to be developed and the needs of the patients.
- You work closely with other mental health professionals, ensuring careful and high-quality multidisciplinary collaboration, while respecting everyone's mandates and place.
- You participate in the various interdisciplinary meetings (network of Pedopsychiatry, network of Perinatality, internal symposia in Pedopsychiatry, joint meetings with adult Psychiatry if necessary...) and maintain and document patient records in a precise and conscientious manner.
- You have a recognized medical degree in Switzerland (MEBEKO) and a specialist degree (FMH or equivalent) in child psychiatristry.
- You master French (minimum C1 level).
- You have a desired academic clinical experience.
- We are looking for a flexible collaborator who has a real desire to learn and pass on his knowledge, in a construction of collaborations in a transversal way.
