The third-largest psychiatric clinic in the Canton of Bern is open to patients from all over Switzerland and abroad and is responsible for the inpatient primary psychiatric care of the eastern Bernese upper country. At PZJE, we treat young adults aged 16 to 25 with diseases from the entire spectrum of psychiatry with extensive psychiatric-psychotherapeutic treatment. The center comprises 30 inpatient treatment stations. The treatment is based on the latest evidence-based medical, therapeutic and nursing knowledge.

The center offers a 24-hour emergency admission requirement and is primarily run open and protected in an area if necessary.

Their tasks

• Therapeutic case management of inpatients under supervision
• Responsible for admission, diagnosis and multimodal therapy in an interprofessional team
• Conduct of psychotherapeutic group offers
• Weekend and late service in the PZJE

Our expectations

• Medical diploma recognised in Switzerland (MEBEKO)
• Started psychotherapy training desirable
• Experience in diagnosis and treatment of mental illnesses is advantageous
