- The apprenticeship places for apprentices in chemistry are offered in two units: the Laboratory-School Apprentices of the Institute of Science and Chemical Engineering (ISIC) at the Faculty of Basic Sciences (FSB) and the Central Environmental Laboratory (CEL) of the Faculty of Natural Environment, Architectural and Constructed (ENAC).

Main responsibilities

- The apprenticeship places for apprentices in chemistry are offered in two units: the Laboratory-School Apprentices of the Institute of Science and Chemical Engineering (ISIC) at the Faculty of Basic Sciences (FSB) and the Central Environmental Laboratory (CEL) of the Faculty of Natural Environment, Architectural and Constructed (ENAC).
- As an apprentice in chemistry at the laboratory-school, you will be involved in a variety of activities: Prepare organic and inorganic chemicals
- Determine purity by different analytical methods
- Identify the structures of molecules synthesized by different spectroscopic methods You will have to work with: different laboratory glassware analytical instruments such as (HPLC;
- GC, titrando, ...)
- spectroscopic instruments (MS, RMN, UV-Vis,...)
- The apprenticeship of Laborantine Orientation Chemistry is accessible to young people at the end of compulsory schooling (VP, VG2, gymnasium ...), and which show a strong interest in the sciences and laboratory trades.
