- Three-year training as a dental assistant EFZ at the Dental Clinic of the University of Bern
- Practical training in oral surgery and stomatology
- Cooperation in treatment and surgical operations
- Instrument preparation and hygiene work
- Care of patients
- Administrative activities and practice organisation
- From the 2nd semester an additional 1 day per week assignment in a private practice
