Requirements

• Bachelor examination Criminal Law II + III completed
• Interest in current criminal, legal and socio-political issues
• Ability in written expression, precise thinking and working methods
• flair for office work
• Advanced use of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
• Basic knowledge of Excel
• Readiness for flexible deployments within the workload within the framework of sliding, i.e. Annual working hours
• ideally: (future) orientation of the Master's degree programme to subjects of the department (criminology, penal and enforcement of measures, criminal sanctions law, juvenile criminal law, police law, criminal policy, human rights, migration law)

• Employment under cantonal law
• Working in a team of about 10 people
• Insight into scientific work
• Central place of work in Bern (Uni S, near Central Station); Workplace in pool or triple office
• Mostly flexible working hours

Tasks

• Assistance in the preparation and implementation of the Police Law Convention of 4 November June 2027
• Revision and updating of teaching materials
• Literature searches for publications
• Participation in the pre-correction of trial exams in the introductory study
• Administrative and organizational tasks (website)
• Participation in research projects
