Tasks
- Self-employed conducting, instructing and conducting criminal proceedings against children and adolescents aged 10 to 17
- Procedural management in protective measures proceedings for children, adolescents and young adults aged 10 to and over 24 years
- Independent conclusion of juvenile criminal proceedings by means of indictment to the juvenile court and cantonal court, by means of a penal order or by means of discontinuation of proceedings and failure to act
- Conduct and representation of ordinary and extraordinary appeals
- (Co-)writing of technical reports, opinions and legal documents
- Deputy head of a department within the youth advocacy office and readiness for Kader-Pikett during approx.
200 days per year
- Representation of the Youth Advocate at specialist and preventive events (departments, workshops, conferences, round tables, parental evenings, etc.)
- Cat B driving licence and access to vehicle for piquettes Requirements
- Completed law degree (MLaw / lic.iur.)
- Several years of professional experience in law enforcement, preferably also youth prosecution
- Flair for social affairs and especially for children and adolescents in puberty
- High load capacity and resilience
- Absolute understanding of the Swiss vernacular (customer language)
- Openness to new things, sense of pragmatism, negotiating skills, decision-making
- Work experience with police and courts is beneficial
