• You prepare passenger trains for their journey, perform shunting movements on train compositions and drive various locomotives with a maximum speed of 30 km/h within a limited radius of the station to the defined starting point.
• During the shunting movements, you monitor the road and thus ensure safety.
• You create the driving readiness, enter data from the safety and information systems and perform brake tests.
• Minor defects or faults on the vehicle can be corrected yourself if possible or reported with the intended instruments of the competent body.
• Assignments as a shunting specialist: in (Ai40) in full swing are a matter of course for you. You couple and uncouple rail vehicles, direct individual shunting movements and reset train compositions.
