The Position The Asset Administration Shell (AAS) is a fundamental concept in the digitalization of industrial systems, aligning with the vision of Industry 4.0. It represents a standardized digital twin for physical assets, allowing a seamless interface between physical systems and the digital world. The AAS encapsulates all relevant information about an asset, including its state, behavior, and lifecycle data, creating an interoperable and machine-readable profile of the asset. Implementing the AAS concept in a synthetic molecules production facility enables improved data integration, analytics, and automation across processes. This digital twin-like structure enhances operational transparency, supports predictive maintenance, and improves production efficiency by ensuring real-time access to asset information across various systems and stakeholders. The AAS also fosters interoperability, ensuring that different components, equipment, and IT systems can easily exchange and process asset-related data. Are you passionate about leveraging cutting-edge digital technologies to revolutionise the pharmaceutical industry? Do you have a keen interest in digitalization, Industry 4.0, and the optimization of production processes? If so, we invite you to join our Digital Value Delivery Team at our location in Basel/Kaiseraugst! As a working student, you will have the unique opportunity to collaborate with our dynamic team to develop and implement digital solutions in the space of Asset Administration Shell (AAS) that enhance production processes and drive digital transformation.
