Tasks

  • Together with the head of the department, you develop and shape the internal and external communication of the BKSD and implement measures appropriate to the target group and the situation.
  • They edit and write speeches, briefings, presentations and contributions for the head and other offices of the BKSD and bring complex topics to the point.
  • They write media releases, process media inquiries and organize media events.
  • They plan and create content for the cantonal social media channels.
  • They maintain the website, intranet and list of authorities and are the contact person for the cantonal CMS and CI/CD questions of the departments.
  • They are sparring partners for the departments in all aspects of communication.
  • As a deputy head of department, you ensure professional, reliable communication even in demanding or time-critical situations.

Requirements

  • You have a university degree in communication, journalism, media studies or a comparable field as well as at least 6 years of broad professional experience in communication with a focus on media work, content production and strategic consulting.
  • They have strong editorial, conceptual and communication skills as well as experience in crisis communication.
  • They have a great interest in BKSD issues and a strong understanding of political processes, agenda setting and issues management.
