Role overview

Tasks

• They accompany a child in the 2nd year of kindergarten with socio-educational needs empathetically and reliably in standard lessons.

• They support the child in emotion regulation and impulse control - and experience how relationship work enables real progress in 1:1 setting.

• They are a trusting bridge between children, class teachers, professionals and parents.

• You are a full member of the school team and actively participate in school events.

• The accompaniment usually takes place on Mondays to Fridays in the morning - with regulated working hours and a clear framework.

Requirements

• They have completed training in social pedagogy and bring the necessary craft for demanding accompanying work.

• Relationship work is your strength: you meet children warmly, clearly and at eye level.

• You are a person who stays calm even in challenging moments and thinks solution-oriented.

• Experience accompanying kindergarten children, ideally with behavioral problems, is a plus, but not a condition. What matters is your attitude.

The primary level Ettingen is a learning place where appreciative cooperation, learning in a variety of ways and a good interpersonal climate are lived. Here, children and teachers enjoy shaping their learning and working processes. The kindergarten and primary school Ettingen consist of 24 classes, 480 pupils and around 70 employees. We have an introductory class and an age-mixed small class.
