Application process

  • We are now looking for a highly motivated Research Associate who will contribute to the development and application of human-relevant bioassays.
  • The Research Associate will join our Ophthalmology Discovery Department located in Basel, Switzerland.
  • This group has a robust early development portfolio in both retinal and anterior segment diseases and works closely with internal and external experts across many specialties. The opportunity:
  • In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge ophthalmic research. Your main focus areas will include:
  • Design, plan, and execute experiments; analyze data.
  • Establish functional cellular assays, 2D and/or 3D cell culture systems for disease relevant models of ocular diseases.
  • Perform cell engineering via nucleic acid-based modalities.
  • state-of-the-art molecular biology techniques for in vitro and ex vivo analysis such as:
