Role overview
The Claraspital participates in the SomPsyNet care model funded by the Department of Health Basel-Stadt and Health Promotion Switzerland together with the University Hospital Basel and other hospitals in Basel to promote the prevention of psychosocial stress consequences in somatic acute care hospitals.

- Evaluation of the screening and implementation of psychosocial consultancies at the stations of cardiology and pulmonology
- Initiation of follow-up treatments and implementation of initial psychotherapeutic interventions
Main responsibilities
- Evaluation of the screening and implementation of psychosocial consultancies at the stations of cardiology and pulmonology
- Initiation of follow-up treatments and implementation of initial psychotherapeutic interventions
- Interdisciplinary cooperation with nursing service and medical profession as well as psychosocial services
- Collaboration in the implementation, further development and data collection of Sompsynet
- Participation in further education and training
- Coordination with the health department of Basel-Stadt and the partner hospitals involved Requirements:
- University degree in psychology (university or HAP)
- Started training in a recognized psychotherapy direction
- Openness towards different psychotherapy methods as well as interest in creative therapeutic methods (art therapy / music therapy)
- Joy in and familiarity with somatic medicine
