Affolter Station Manager Tel: +41 (0)32 627 12 21 The Psychiatric Services (PD) are responsible for the extended basic psychiatric care throughout the canton with around 450 employees.
In addition to emergency and crisis centers, a comprehensive consultation and counselling service is available through the clinics for psychiatry, psychotherapy and psychosomatics and through the children and youth ofpsyiatrie.
Treatment is tailored to the individual needs of patients and is performed outpatiently, day-to-day or inpatiently.
The Psychiatric Services also cover the Forensic Psychiatry in the Canton.
The Psychiatric Services are teaching and research hospitals of the University of Basel.
