- Two-year practice-oriented further training for/to the dipl.
Expert/Expert Intensive Care NDS HF with close theory-practice reference.
- Acquisition and deepening of expertise in the care, care and monitoring of intensive care patients.
- Share responsibility for professional action in acute, complex and rapidly changing situations.
- Continuous competence building through the change between theoretical teaching at the Pflege Bern Education Centre and practical work at the Interlaken Hospital.
- Intensification of intensive care skills during one semester in the intensive care unit of the Hirslanden Klinik Beau Site with focus on operational areas, in particular cardiac surgery.
- Interdisciplinary cooperation as well as linking nursing expertise with medical therapy concepts.
- Active participation in clinical decision-making processes and patient-oriented care.
- Holistic care also for severely ill patients taking into account their individual needs and quality of life.
- Accompaniment, advice and support of relatives in demanding treatment situations.
