Role overview
Duties - Serve as the central point of contact for safe and precise positioning in the operating room - Ensures patients are positioned comfortably and optimally, and that each procedure runs smoothly - Works closely with the operating team in the spine, hip, shoulder, knee, trauma, visceral surgery, and ear, nose, and throat sectors - Welcomes patients and ensures they feel safe and well-supported - Performs precise positioning before, during, and after surgery, ensuring each position meets the needs of the procedure - Professionally prepares and uses medical devices and materials throughout the entire procedure - Ensures patient safety and correct implementation of all positioning guidelines - Escorts patients out of the operating room and ensures a smooth exit • Requirements - Completed vocational training as a Health Care Professional EFZ or other medical training - Specialized course in operating room positioning, preferably already completed or willingness to obtain it - Preferred professional experience in a similar function and great interest in the operating room environment - Good knowledge of the German language, both written and spoken - High motivation and availability to work on weekends and nights - Precise, reliable, empathetic, and collaborative personality with attention to detail • What we offer - Minimum of 5 weeks of vacation, loyalty vacation, 11 public holidays and paid bridges Area - Operating room management Employment level - 100% Contact KSBL Cantonal Hospital of Basel-Land - Sites Bruderholz, Liestal, Laufen. ~4'500 employees in 3 sites in the Basel region.
