Tasks

• Admission of patients: palliative assessment, general physical state, medical information collection
• Knowledge and application of the SENS model used in palliative medicine
• Participation in medical visits and inter-professional meetings
• Participation in conversations with patients and their families on complex situations, therapeutic options and goals, as well as psychosocial and spiritual aspects
• In-depth understanding of symptoms management, especially pain and nausea
• Knowledge and accompaniment of palliative care, musical and artistic therapy
• Learn how to manage patients in the end of their lives and accompany their family members, see death
• Participation in journalism club and case discussion meetings
• Requirements:
• Good or good knowledge of the German language (at least level B2)
• Ideally, the course of medical studies is already in an advanced stage, so that this internship is not the first, but one of the last of the course of studies Application: To apply, send the following documents:
