The Position The Clinical Manufacturing Network (PTDN) produces groundbreaking clinical-stage therapies to serve every patient every day. The Drug Product Clinical Supply Center (Parenterals) in Basel is responsible for the production and filling of parenteral, sterile dosage forms from the global research and development portfolio. For the delivery of the clinical trials in phase I-III, “State of the art” production facilities are available in a modern building at the Basel site.

The possibility As a Logistics Expert in the Planning & Logistics section of the Drug Product Clinical Supply Center (Parenterals), you will take on the following exciting tasks in the logistics sector:

• Responsibility for GMP and non-GMP storage areas
• Carrying out of incoming goods (e.g.: of active substances, packaging materials, auxiliary substances, etc.), including incoming inspection, transfer and storage
• Timely delivery of goods to the holding
• Outgoing goods of DP bulk material and other materials, as well as shipping preparation, including preparation of shipping orders
• Coordination and implementation of searches for goods for construction 97 and goods exits
• Transfer of samples from production and transfer to analysis
• Securing day-to-day business through the coordination of logistics resources as well as responsibility for destruction and disposal.
• Implementation of the annual inventory in cooperation with the departments as well as support for projects, audits and deviation management.

Who you are

In order to succeed in this exciting role, you ideally bring the following:

• Successfully completed vocational training logistician (EFZ or comparable) and higher
• You have a safe handling of industrial trucks and have an ID
• Experienced handling of MS Office/Google applications, good SAP user knowledge (module EWM) and ideally experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
• You have very good knowledge of German in word and writing, as well as good knowledge of English in word and writing
• In-depth experience in the GMP-regulated logistics environment, especially in the handling of refrigerated and frozen goods (2–8 °C / -20 °C)
• You have experience in transferring and discharging materials in the GMP environment
• Dealing with KANBAN systems, 5S knowledge of advantages
• Pikettdienst Standby in special operations
