Entry by arrangement · Bruderholz, income management · Job reference 13017 · Permanent employment Tasks: Shape the future of patient administration and income management at the Cantonal Hospital Baselland. As head of patient administration, you assume overall responsibility for a central area of our income management. Together with your management team and around 60 employees, you ensure efficient, patient-oriented and economic processes along the administrative patient journey and, together with the Head of Revenue Management, are responsible for an annual turnover of around CHF 450 million.

• Overall responsibility for patient admission, billing, emergency ports and ERP administration
• Professional and personnel management of four directly subordinate managers as well as indirect management of around 60 employees
• Further development of a modern, service-oriented patient administration with a focus on quality, efficiency and patient experience
• Conception and implementation of digital onboarding processes for patients
• Identification and realization of automation and digitalization potential, especially in the area of billing and in other administrative processes
• Ensuring professional receivables and income management in close cooperation with internal and external partners
• Analysis, optimization and standardization of processes and interfaces
• Close cooperation with the management of revenue management as well as other interdisciplinary stakeholders from medicine, care, finance, computer science and administration
• Participation in cross-divisional projects and active participation in strategic developments Requirements
• Completed higher education or training in health care, business administration, health care management or a comparable specialisation
• Several years of leadership and management experience in a comparable function, ideally in the hospital or health environment
• High affinity for digital solutions, automation and ERP systems
• In-depth knowledge in patient administration, performance recording, invoicing or income management
• Service-oriented, decision-making and assertive personality who approaches tasks proactively and solution-oriented, quickly learns about complex topics independently and can communicate goal-oriented with a wide variety of demanding stakeholders
• Strong leadership, communication and social skills
