The Position The possibility

Our team in the Corporate Legal Department looks after the legal concerns of the Group worldwide and across all divisions.

Her responsibilities as a legal trainee include

Support of lawyers in various legal matters of a pharmaceutical company (private law, competition law, M&A, public law (especially therapeutics law), international private law, criminal law, private and public procedural law, etc.).

This includes activities such as

• Answering legal questions and preparing legal memos.
• Development of opinions and legal correspondence.
• Support for M&A transactions.
• Training and lectures on selected legal topics.
• Free legal advice for our employees at the Basel/Kaiseraugst location for private matters (offer for our employees).
• Assessment of contracts of various kinds.
• Cooperation in interdisciplinary and international teams.

Who you are

• Completed law degree (MLaw) with very good predicate.
• First professional experience in the form of internships/volunteers at a court or law firm is beneficial.
• Willingness to work in interdisciplinary teams and to assume legal responsibility.
• Dedication, resilience, negotiating skills and assertiveness.
• Very good knowledge of German and English (verbal and written).

Additional information

• The legal internship lasts 6 months and starts at the beginning of each quarter, for the year 2027 we have a free internship from July.
• The place of work is Basel.
