Role overview
Mission The Institute of Chemical Sciences and Engineering (ISIC, https://www.epfl.ch/schools/sb/research/isic/) of EPFL is looking for a laboratory in chemistry to work within the Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Platform (ISIC-NMRP) and the Chemical Stores Platform (ISIC-CHSP).
You will have the mission to support routine solid phase NMR analyses for EPFL research laboratories and other users of our platforms.
You will be involved in the preparation of samples, measurements, troubleshooting and maintenance of instruments, and support to users.

Main responsibilities

- Implementation of solid routine NMR experiments
- Supervision of analyses on solid and liquid NMR automata
- Technical support to users for solid NMR analyses
- Maintenance and troubleshooting of analytical equipment
- Management of consumable stocks Activities within the Chemical Stores Platform
- Customer reception at the store and advice for the purchase of consumables and laboratory equipment.
- Receipt and distribution of goods (quality control and traceability)
- Store inventory, storage and cleanliness maintenance
- Support for special chemical waste treatment and administrative monitoring Profile
