The Position The group "mEMT Basel and Water Systems" is part of the Microbiology department within the "Quality Control for Commercial Drug Products" in Basel and Kaiseraugst. As a laboratory technician (m/f/d) of the group "mEMT Basel and Water Systems" in the field of pharmaceutical quality control, you ensure reliable and efficient microbiological environmental monitoring for our manufacturing customers at the Basel site for the safety of our products and thus for the well-being of patients.

The possibility

• Implementation of microbiological environmental monitoring (e.g. air germ collections, surface cloths) and particle monitoring in clean rooms.
• Taking microbiological and chemical-physical samples from clean media (e.g. WFI, gases) and carrying out water filtration.
• Incubation, evaluation and complete documentation of the test results in the LIMS system.
• Organisation and management of internal model logistics.
• Independent performance of laboratory work in compliance with all GMP and SOP requirements.
• Ensure order, cleanliness and operational readiness of all test equipment in the laboratory.
• Participation in a weekend service

Who you are

• You have completed vocational training as a biology laboratory:in, chemical laboratory:in, chemical/pharmatechnolog:in or a comparable qualification.
• They bring practical experience in microbiological laboratory work and ideally in environmental monitoring.
• They communicate fluently in German (in word and writing) and combine this with good knowledge of English.
• They are characterised by a careful, precise working method and practical skill.
• Experience with GMP (documentation) and its system is desired.
• They appreciate the work in the team, are resilient and flexible.
• You are interested in a job with a high proportion of practical work.
