The Position The possibility The QC Product Analytical Testing (PAT) department is part of the quality control at the Kaiseraugst and Basel sites. It supports local customers and the global Roche network at the Kaiseraugst and Basel locations. The API Raw Material, Elemental Impurities & Excipients Testing team is part of this PAT Quality Unit and is based in Basel. As a laboratory technician, you make an important contribution to the quality control of raw materials and active ingredients through precise analyses and thus ensure the safety of our products.

Her duties as a Laboratory Technician include in particular

• Independent implementation and documentation of chemical-physical analysis using different analytical methods according to the rules of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)
• Review of raw data
• GMP-compliant documentation of the results on the PC as well as cooperation in the processing and documentation of deviations
• Care and calibration of laboratory equipment
• Ensuring data integrity in your own workspace
• Support for the implementation of LPS methods, 5S concepts and continuous improvement

Who you are

• Training as a chemical laboratory technician EFZ (preferred), Chemical Technical Assistant (CTA), Biological Technical Assistant (BTA) or equivalent
• Experience in analysis using HPLC, GC, titration, IR, UV is a prerequisite. Ideally, you will have experience with Agilent HPLC systems and EMPOWER software.
• Hands-on experience with LIMS systems is desired
• GMP experience required in laboratory environment
• Very good teamwork, willingness to change and strong logical thinking and an affinity in dealing with laboratory IT applications
• Very good knowledge of German in word and writing is a prerequisite. Knowledge of English is desired.
