The Position Foodlicious is our daily business Taverne Roche has been a successful catering company in the field for more than 30 years Community gastronomy. Tavero AG is a 100% subsidiary of F. Hoffmann-La Roche. At the Basel and Kaiseraugst locations, we employ around 350 Employees from over 41 nations. Diversity, quality and enjoyment are at the heart of our gastronomic offer. From varied staff restaurants to stylish à la carte experiences to international specialties, there is something for everyone. Freshly prepared coffee from professional baristi, stylish lounges with breathtaking views – the highest in Switzerland – and ideal places to relax after work make our gastronomy special. Supplemented It will feature practical Grab’n’Go formats – from sushi to burgers – and a unique club, the first in Roche’s history.

For meetings and events, tailor-made catering solutions are available for up to 1,500 people. Our gastronomy also invites you to stay outside the campus: in the charming Schöpfli in the park or in the Chez Jeannot at the Museum Tinguely.

Tasks

• Timely provision and production of the food supply in the assigned work area
• Alternating employment in the various themed restaurants as well as in the staff restaurant and catering possible
• Respectful handling of the product
• Preparation according to recipe, including tasting and continuous improvement process, creativity is desired
• Compliance with hygiene regulations (TQM / HACCP)
• Economic work to achieve the goals of the company
• Secure Goods Management and Internal and External Orders
• Preparing food in front of guests
• Readiness for special assignments outside normal working hours
• Management of employees in the task area

Profile

• You have completed cooking training (EFZ)
• You have Mind. 2 years of professional experience (excluding years of training)
• You are an organizational talent and have a strong sense of responsibility
• You have an assertiveness
• You have an independent working method and take responsibility
• Teamwork and reliability are a matter of course for you
• You have knowledge of Swiss food legislation
• You are flexible and ready for occasional evening and weekend assignments
• You have good knowledge of German and English in word and writing in order to be able to competently advise your customers
• In a digital world, we also want a secure handling of computer programs (MS Office)
