The Pharma Site organization provides the infrastructure for the entire site and continuously develops it. We work with all stakeholders along the entire value chain, from early research to patient care.

Purpose of the role: In the “Operate Digital Infrastructure” team, you ensure that our networked sensors at the Basel and Kaiseraugst locations function reliably and are expanded as needed. They are the central hub between internal customers, state-of-the-art IoT technology and external service providers. You take responsibility for ongoing operations, control external partners and independently handle extension projects from request to acceptance.

The possibility

• Holistic lifecycle management: You are responsible for the installed sensors throughout their entire life cycle, from installation, commissioning and takeover into operation via documentation and troubleshooting to maintenance and uninstallation.
• Strategy & Operational Optimization: You develop sustainable maintenance strategies, keep the operating costs in focus and actively promote the standardization of processes and the continuous improvement process (CIP).
• Solution development & consulting: You take specific customer inquiries, evaluate the technical needs and develop customized IoT solutions for implementation at our locations.
• Data support: You actively support and advise internal customers in the provision, access and evaluation of their collected IoT data.
• Project & Partner Management: You plan and implement conversion and expansion projects independently, control external specialist companies including quality control and take over the associated ordering.
• System & Data Quality: They consistently guarantee the quality, completeness and complete traceability of all data and documents in our systems.
• Cooperation & know-how development: You maintain a close exchange with partners and interfaces and ensure the constant transfer of knowledge and know-how in our circle.

Who are you?

• training: Completed technical vocational training (ETC), e.g. in the fields of building informatics, automatics, electrical installation, computer science (systems engineering), electronics or equivalent qualification; a further education at a higher technical school (e.g. Dipl.) Technician/in HF) is a plus.
• practical experience: in-depth practical experience in the operational operation of technical hardware
• Knowledge of IoT sensors, BLE or LoRaWAN are an advantage.
• System & IT competence: Ideally, they bring a high IT affinity and a routine handling of PC and standard office applications; practical experience with systems such as SAP or digital documentation tools.
• Organization & Partner Management: Strong cost and quality awareness as well as practical experience in the coordination and control of external service providers and specialists
