The Position As part of the global technical development organization, we are responsible for the research and development of oral dosage forms at the Roche Basel site. This includes the technical development and optimization of market formulations and manufacturing processes as well as transfers to commercial production sites. Furthermore, we are responsible for the production of batches for phase I -IV clinical trials under GMP. Our tasks also include the evaluation and implementation of new manufacturing technologies and patient-oriented drug application forms.

The possibility

As an intern in GMP-relevant functions, you will accompany and support the following activities as required:

• Creation and revision of GMP processes and quality-relevant documentation (SOPs) in the development area
• Support and optimization of workflows and processes taking into account cGMP and SHE (Safety, Health & Environment) requirements
• Support for the procurement, qualification and/or modification of production facilities and systems
• Support for the implementation and further development of IT systems (e.g. MES, etc.)
• Support for the organisation of various quality systems (e.g. training, data management and archiving, documentation of planned and unplanned events (deviation & change management))
• Support teams with questions on manufacturing equipment, cleaning processes and systems, warehousing and shipping and cleaning assessment / validation

Who you are

You are enrolled or have been enrolled as a student in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmaceutical Technology (preferably with Bachelor or 2nd State Exams) Completed your studies within 12 months before the start date, continue to have interest in technical and GMP relevant issues. In addition, you are interested in using and sharing your knowledge in a modern working environment during a 6-month internship. This internship primarily serves to support the ongoing GMP manufacturing company and is therefore not suitable for developing a specific bachelor/master thesis.
