We are looking for a:n Project engineer*in Solutions (m/f/d) to complement our team and implement innovative automation and software solutions for demanding customer projects. At Flowtec AG in Reinach, we develop and produce high-precision flow measurement technology and actively shape the digital future of the process industry.

What's this place about?

They accompany sophisticated automation solutions along the entire life cycle – from the first idea to successful commissioning. The focus is on high-precision transfer measurement and billing solutions, such as refuelling or loading and unloading of ships.

You are moving at the interface of automation, software and hardware and connect them to powerful overall systems. Is it appealing to you to translate complex technical requirements into well-thought-out solutions and to experience their effect directly in real use?

What tasks will you take over?

They will

• take technical responsibility for solution projects from the idea to the implementation and actively promote their implementation
• Ensure technical feasibility and work at the interface between instrumentation, electrical hardware, communication, software and visualization
• Develop and implement automation solutions with PLC (according to IEC 61131-3) e.g. CoDeSys
• Create and responsible for electrical drawings in control engineering
• Develop and extend visualizations and user interfaces with modern web technologies such as Angular or React
• Support sales in technical questions and solution designs
• edit service cases as Level 2 or 3 support

What do we expect from you?

They

• have a degree in electrical, automation or system technology or a comparable qualification
• bring experience in PLC programming (IEC 6113-3) and a solid understanding of control technology with
• have collected practice in electrical design and drawing
• bring interest or initial experience in web technologies such as Angular or React
• have a good understanding of the interaction between IT, software and automation and ideally first experience in system integration
• communicate safely in German and English and work independently, solution-oriented and gladly in exchange with customers
• bring up to 15% of the travel time
