Our ICT is a central pillar of the University Children's Hospital of Basel (UKBB). It ensures the smooth operation of clinical and administrative applications and thus supports the medical care of our patients every day. In an interdisciplinary environment, our IT technical expertise combines with a high level of understanding of the requirements of a modern hospital operation.

Their tasks

• Ensuring the operation, support and further development of the clinic information system KISIM from Cistec
• Close cooperation with the specialist departments and active participation in (interdisciplinary) projects in the field of clinical applications
• They form the interface between clinical operations and technical informatics
• Specification and implementation of technical requirements in cooperation with medical specialists
• Planning and implementing change requests and releases
• 2nd level support and coordination with suppliers in the 3rd level area
• Analysis and processing of incidents such as parameterization problems, interface topics and application questions (2nd level support)
• Creation of instructions, documentation, mockups, etc.
• Support for key users in the specialist departments
• Participation in the relevant specialist groups (e.g. Board KISIM, etc.)

Your profile

• You have a university degree in computer science, medical informatics or a comparable education with a focus on computer science as well as a high affinity for the clinical treatment environment
• You describe yourself as a team player, with a high customer and service orientation as well as a structured and solution-oriented working method
• You are a motivated and committed personality who likes to contribute your own ideas and your good methodological knowledge in the areas of project work and 2nd level support round off your profile.
• Ideally, you have prior training in the healthcare sector and corresponding prior knowledge in the field of clinic information systems (especially KISIM)
• Basic knowledge of interfaces for medical data (HL7, FHIR, etc.) is an advantage
• have at least three years of professional experience;
• You are open to new technologies and ready to question processes and optimize them if necessary and prefer an agile way of working
