The Position We offer an internship in the Utilities Process Team, which is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the utilities supporting biotech production. You will gain insights into pharmaceutical manufacturing and gain practical experience in areas such as Lean Production System (LPS), SHE and GMP.

The opportunity

• Implementation of an AI-based tool for predictive maintenance
• Gaining experience in everyday production (work organization, project management)
• Accompanying the processing of deviations and process changes
• Analysis and interpretation of process data to support deviation corrections, root cause analysis
• Support in the creation and revision of operationally relevant documents (e.g. standard operating procedures)
• Participation in the initiation and implementation of improvement projects in the field of process engineering and sustainability
• Communication and cooperation with various internal and external interfaces

Who you are

• You completed your master’s degree within 12 months of starting your internship in engineering, energy, infrastructure, process engineering or biotech
• Personal initiative, openness and curiosity distinguish you
• You work independently and structured and have a fast comprehension and approach tasks in a solution-oriented manner
• You enjoy working with internal and external actors as well as enjoying challenges
• You have very good knowledge of German and English
• You have good knowledge in the MS Office and basic knowledge in the field of artificial intelligence (e.g. data analysis, automation, machine learning) are advantageous

The preferred start of the internship is in October 2026. Please indicate your preferred start date and the desired internship duration in your application.

Non-EU/EFTA citizens (m/f/d) must accompany the application with a confirmation from the university that they must complete a mandatory internship as part of their studies (Mandatory Letter).

Part-time employment of at least 80% is possible at this position.

This traineeship does not permit the writing of a thesis.
